The event, titled ‘Prince and Princess Popcorn Moments’, includes a meet and greet for children with Rapunzel, a special viewing of Disney’s Tangled, a raffle and refreshments. The all ages event promises to be a fun family night out and takes place at St Mary’s Creative Space, Chester on Friday, February 8.

Organisers Only Once Events are a group of Events Management students including: Charlotte Humpage, aged 21, from Stoke-On-Trent; Niamh Davies, aged 20, from Stafford; John McFarland, aged 19, from New York; Antonia Beilensohn, aged 20 from Llangefni, in Anglesey and Lauren Towsey, aged 20, from Portsmouth.

All money raised will be donated to The Little Princess Trust, a charity dedicated to helping children going through cancer treatment. The charity provides children and young adults up to the age of 24 with wigs throughout their treatment.

Helen Creese, Marketing and Communications Executive, The Little Princess Trust, said “We are so grateful to the fantastic Only Once Events team and the University for holding this fundraiser on behalf of The Little Princess Trust. The charity receives no formal funding and relies solely on the enthusiastic efforts of individuals, groups, and businesses. As a result of this generous support, we are able to supply real hair wigs - free of charge - to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other illnesses.”

Niamh Davies, Only Once Events Team Leader, said: “We are so excited to be able to raise money for The Little Princess Trust. Our event is intended to be a space for everyone in the community to come together and enjoy a regal night filled with princesses and popcorn!”

Tickets cost £5 per child and adults go free. For more information and to purchase tickets, please contact Only Once Events via email at, Facebook (Prince & Princess Popcorn Moments), Twitter (@OnlyOnceEvents1) or Instagram (@OnlyOnceEvents).
