The AA2A (Artists Access to Art Colleges) project provides placements for visual artists and designer makers in higher education and further education institutions across England.
The work, which includes a range of mediums, such as fashion design, photography and print, is open to the public at the Department of Art and Design’s pop-up gallery CASC (Contemporary Art Space Chester) in the Forum Shopping Centre. The Department is hosting regular exhibitions in this space throughout the summer months.
The exhibition is open on Friday, May 30 from 10am to 5pm and is free to view. The artists involved are Clare Owens, Elizabeth Wewiora, Samantha Corder, Nigel Morris and Carol Hanson.
Associate Professor Bernadine Murray, Head of the Department of Art and Design at the University of Chester, said: “We are very proud to once again work with AA2A to support the work of new artists and designers. Thank you to Forum Shopping Centre for supporting the display of their work.”
