Why did you want to run for VP of the Students' Union and how is It going so far?

I felt that across my three years of study I’ve experienced what the Students' Union (SU) had given to me and other students, and now I want to give something back. So far the job has been incredible - everything and more I could wish for the job to be, and it suits me to a tee.

What is a typical day at work for you?

My typical working day would be going out and speaking to students at Warrington, seeing what’s they’ve got going on that week and how uni life is for them.

What is your favourite part of your job?

My favourite part of the job is meeting and talking to the students - we’re here for them after all.

Do you have any exciting upcoming projects?

We’re looking at partnering up with Cheshire Police to create the campus's very first Police Varsity so keep your eyes peeled for more details in due course.

Choose a movie title for the story of your life.

La La Land

What has been your proudest moment whilst working at the University?

My proudest moment whilst working at the University has to be having a successful Freshers' Week, with a very good welcome team.  I couldn’t thank the Student Ambassador volunteers enough for the work they did.

How can students get involved with the SU?

Pop into my office or contact us through our website.  We probably can help you in many ways - just come in and ask.

How would you summarise your Chester story?

From student to staff member, I have had the best 3 ½ years ever. So many opportunities have arisen and I can’t thank those who helped me on my journey to get me to where I am now.
