With our increased discount and the availability of Master's Loans, if you're a graduate of University of Chester postgraduate study is more affordable than ever during the next academic year, can you afford to leave it another year?

Graduate Loyalty Discount

At University of Chester we're always pleased to see our Bachelor and PGCE graduates return to take on the challenge of a higher level qualification, and our Graduate Loyalty Discount would normally mean a 20% discount off course fees of qualifying full-priced taught Master's courses.

We've taken the decision to increase this discount to 25% for qualifying courses beginning on or after 01/09/2020 and before 30/06/2021. Depending on the course you're studying this would mean a minimum saving of just under £300 compared to the usual discounted fees, and a saving of at least £1,485 on the full course fees.

Master's Loans

Depending on where you normally reside in the UK, you could get up to £17,000 to help fund your Master’s degree in the 2020/21 academic year.

Eligible students normally residing in England can borrow up to £11,222 from Student Finance England to help fund their study, this loan is not means-tested, so the amount you can borrow is the same irrespective of your income or savings.

If you normally live across the border in Wales, you could receive £17,000 in the form of a means-tested grant and a loan that is not means-tested. The ratio of grant to loan that you receive depends on your financial position, meaning the amount of grant you receive would be between a maximum of £6,885 and minimum of £1,000.
