There are many benefits to studying a degree in Marketing; whether that’s the opportunity to experience a year in industry, the chance to mix with an internationally diverse cohort, or the realisation that marketers will always be in demand.

Whilst Marketing is a dream career for many, it is an extremely competitive industry to enter, often requiring specialist knowledge and skills to help you stand out from the crowd. With this in mind we have developed two new Marketing courses at our Warrington School of Management, designed to give you the skills you need to get noticed by employers.

Thanks to our Marketing and Advertising Management, and Sport Marketing and Management courses, you now have even more choice when picking a course. Want to know more? Take a look through this blog and discover what these courses have to offer.

Marketing and Advertising Management

Working across departments, Marketing and Advertising Management covers all aspects of marketing, whilst exploring advertising management and the more leading edge areas of digital marketing. What’s more, it blends important academic principles with practical skills, allowing you to apply what you learn in the lecture room to real work environments. Whether you opt for work-based learning, or decide to extend your studies with a year in industry, there are a range of opportunities to put your new found skills to the test. Futhermore, with links to companies such as the BBC, Warrington Wolves, and BMW, you could even have the opportunity to take part in live briefs and learn from industry experts.

Career prospects:

As a graduate with a Marketing and Advertising Management degree, you are opening yourself up to a whole array of different career paths, and across all industry sectors; from private, public and voluntary work.
