Accommodation Options

The on-campus accommodation at Warrington couldn’t be more convenient – it’s ideal for those 9am lectures. Amenities and academic facilities are only a short walk from where you’ll be living, and you’ll really get the most out of the strong community feel that our Warrington Campus is known for. We have rooms that have been adapted for students with specific needs or disabilities; please contact our Disability and Inclusion team if you would like to find out more information.

Self-Catered Accommodation
The shared student experience is a big part of the way these halls work, with communal kitchens available to make your own food at your convenience. Or if you’d prefer not to cook every day, take advantage of one of the University’s meal schemes, which offer healthy meals at a reduced cost. We have two options available; self-catered standard rooms and a small number of self-catered en-suite rooms.

Overnight Accommodation
We also offer overnight self-catered accommodation at the Warrington Campus, which includes bed linen and towels. This is really handy if you’re going to be commuting.
Please note: overnight accommodation is subject to availability.

Social Life on Campus

You can relax and grab some food between lectures in The Garden Dining Room, which also offers a range of meal schemes to suit your needs on a five-day-a-week basis. Our campus bar, Bar Twenty10, is a great place for a study break; here you can catch up with friends and enjoy a bite to eat. Bar Twenty10 hosts everything from DJ sets and live music, to themed nights; as well as more relaxed comedy nights, karaoke, live sport, and pool and pub quiz leagues. The Terrace Café serves Starbucks (perfect for that caffeine hit), and we also have a shop on campus which stocks freshly made sandwiches, snacks, cold drinks and University merchandise.
We have a great selection of societies for you to get involved in, including our Multimedia, Events, LGBTQ+ and Nursing societies. Or, if you can’t see one you fancy, pop in and see the SU team to set up your own. CSU also works very closely with the Athletics Union to help provide you with sporting opportunities on campus, so you can get fit and have fun.
Sport means a lot to us at Warrington, and our excellent on-campus facilities prove that. You can use our all-weather floodlit pitch, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, rugby and football pitches, a two-lane running track (350 metres), the gym, and enjoy classes in our new fitness studio. If you’re interested in joining a team, everyone is welcome. Whatever your sporting ability, our teams are always happy to see new faces.
For those interested in radio, take the opportunity to develop your radio production skills at the award-winning on-campus Ofcom licensed radio station, The Cat Radio, Gold Winner of Best Student Radio Chart Show at the Student Radio Awards (SRA) 2018.
