Mike Holden graduated in 2016 with a First Class Honours in Photography and Graphic Design. He recently caught up with us to tell us how his career has progressed in the last year.

"I've been working full time with Harry, Larry and Gary Design for a year now, where I have progressed from ‘Junior Brand Creative’ to ‘Brand Creative’. I’ve worked on some great projects with well-established hospitality names. I've had the chance to utilise my photography skills within my job and I've also been learning about coding. My plan next year is to build e-mails on a regular basis and the odd website too!
"As for my photography, this has continued to grow even more. I’ve been shooting some great race events this year and I plan on shooting top classic car events next year for Octane. Even better, I was highly commended in this year’s MSA Young Photographer of the Year Award, an award designed to recognise promising British motor sport photographers aged 30 and under. With this, I also got a year’s membership to the Guild of Motoring Writers - the world’s largest association of automotive editorial professionals. It’s amazing to have my name listed alongside a range of highly accomplished motorsport photographers and I am determined to do even better in 2018."
