The Centre for Professional and Economic Development at the University's Business School is highly acclaimed for its flexible work based courses for employees and works with employers on skills development and business growth. 

It has designed the Advanced Manager courses to meet both the personal needs of managers looking to keep abreast of the latest ideas and to help businesses be sustainable and prepare for change.

The two courses this June are: 

Agile Leadership and Change, 24th June

Understand the science of climate change in order to lead sustainably, contributing to wider company Corporate Social Responsibility strategies.  Guide and educate your team to set achievable goals and actions to reduce your organisation's carbon footprint and impact positively on its long term sustainability.

Sustainable Leadership, 29th June

Promote and deliver the principles of good work, creating a wellbeing climate where people are happy and proud to work for their organisation.  Assess your own agility and explore engagement theory.  Be confident with technological innovation and change.
