As a Chester student, you are automatically a member of the Chester Students’ Union (CSU).
CSU is all about improving your experience at university, through social, wellbeing and society activities, and through representing the student voice in decisions that are made.
2019 has brought big changes for CSU, with a newly refurbished student space, more visibility of the appointed CSU officers, and the introduction of the Athletics Union.

Welcome Week has flown by, and hopefully you had a chance to see your very own CSU in action! Whether that be in their Zorb Football event or at the Freshers and Activities Fairs.

Chester has over 130 sports clubs and societies, meaning there is something for everyone. Sports and Societies are all student-led and coordinated by an elected committee for the academic year.

New to the 2019/20 academic year, all sports will be managed by the new University of Chester Athletics Union. This means more money for training, coaches, travel and more support.
