Kate

Initially lacking confidence on stage, Kate has found that the opportunity to perform at live performance venues via the University of Chester, such as Alexander's, has made a world of difference. Kate’s #MyChesterStory moment is from her second ever live set whilst studying the BA (Hons) Popular Music Performance course. Her confidence has improved so much that Kate is now getting gigs booked. That’s what we like to see!

Ashleigh

Ashleigh, an MA Drama student, had never written or performed any poetry before. But completing both her undergraduate and postgraduate studies here at the University of Chester has boosted her creativity and given her more confidence. Ashleigh’s #MyChesterStory moment is from her first poetry performance, something she never thought she’d have the confidence to do. Go on, Ashleigh.

Neill

MA Drama student, Neill, shares with us his passion for Storytelling and talks about performing at Storyhouse and the Garret Theatre through the University of Chester. Neill’s #MyChesterStory moment is from when he first began his Roald Dahl storytelling, and he couldn’t recommend it enough!
