We’ve enjoyed looking at the images you’ve shared with us using #MyChesterStory, so we’ve decided to share our favourite image from each month over the past year.

January

What better way to rid the January blues than by making friends with a Harris Hawk in the snow!

February

Let’s face it, the Eastgate clock is a Chester favourite and we definitely have the time for this image.

March

We have a lot of sports teams at the University of Chester including American football. The best thing about this photo is Giorgia dispelling any kind of stereotypes, you go girl!

April

The Queen’s Park Bridge is the gateway to our Queen’s Park Campus, it’s not a bad walk especially on a sunny April day.

May

The Alumni team ran a project to find out what the University of Chester means to students past and present. This photo album was found in the University archives and is 100 years old!

June

There has been some fantastic works of art produced at Creative Campus, Kingsway and these pieces are no exception. Plus, the dog is adorable.

July

Here is Abi enjoying the sunshine in Utah on her Study Abroad programme. Study Abroad is a great opportunity to experience a different culture and see new sights - you also receive academic credits for completing it!

August

University isn’t just about earning a degree, you can gain some life skills too. The Volunteering team managed to grow some vegetables including a huge courgette!

I get a campus that has a spaceship #mykingswaydays

It’s true, there aren’t many Universities that can say they have a UFO on campus. You could say Creative Campus, Kingsway is out of this world.

So I can confirm that the boys are now honorary Pawfessors at the University of Chester! -- We’ve had a fabulous morning talking all about Therapy Dogs, Mental Health and the Wonderboys! Thank you so much for inviting my Wonderboys -- DISCLAIMER: Amos is not a registered Therapy dog, we were contacted about this visit independently to the work Toby does as a therapy dog, however as it was a student nurse event it made good sense to talk about therapy dog work! #tobyandamos #therapydog #tobytherapy #tobyandamosthewonderpups #mentalhealth #universityofchester #guidedogforablinddog #noeyeddog #besties #thebesttherapy #pawfessors #staffordshirebullterrier #borderterrier #myboys #proudmomma #masterofdisaster #border #borderterriersofinstagram #btposse #mygrumpyboy #handsomechap #instahappiness #lovehim #loveablescruff #ruffwear #pitpat #pitpatpack

This adorable photo is definitely a worthy winner for October. Amos and Toby visited the University to talk all things mental health and left as Honorary Pawfessors.

November

November is graduation month and don’t forget, as the Vice Chancellor always says in their speech “You will always be a part of the University and the University will always be a part of you”.
