Professor Tony Wall will deliver his inaugural lecture entitled The Ego and the Ladybird: A Trilogy of Radical Failure, Responsibility, and Trajectories of Hope on Thursday, April 11 at 6.30pm. It will take place in Bridge House at the home of the University’s Business School, the Queen’s Park Campus.

Professor Tony Wall is a Professor of Transformational Learning and Management in the Faculty of Business and Management (the Centre for Work Related Studies and The International Centre for Thriving at Work).

The lecture will explore how after 20 years of stark criticism, management education continues to fail to re-configure the heads, hearts and hands of leaders and managers towards collective and sustainable futures. It will draw on a decade of international research and polite academic activism and intentionally foregrounds ambiguity, politics and passion - areas supposedly absent in contemporary management education.

Tea and coffee will be served before the lecture and a complimentary drink will be available afterwards. Tickets are free but must be booked by emailing events@chester.ac.uk.
