Little Duck Events - Lauren Whitfield-Edwards; Danielle Jane-Smith; Amber Smith; Lia Wynn-Parry and Despina Dramioti.

The team, called Little Duck Events, is holding the event this Tuesday, February 4, from 7pm to 10pm at the Music Hall Tap, off St Werburgh Street, Chester. Tickets are £5 each and are available to buy online or in advance or on the door on the day.

Attendees can take part in teams of two to six people and participate in classic games such as the ultimate quiz, bingo, deal or no deal and higher or lower. The games will be followed by a raffle with amazing prizes kindly donated by a range of local businesses.

Little Duck Events aims to raise awareness for the Anthony Nolan Charity, which helps people who suffer from blood cancer. Anthony Nolan is the charity that makes lifesaving connections between people with blood cancer and incredible strangers ready to donate their stem cells. By growing the stem cell register, carrying out ground-breaking research and providing the best post-transplant care, Anthony Nolan are giving families a future. Three lives a day are saved through this research and register.

Despina Dramioti, a member of Little Duck Events, said: “From the day we started working with the Anthony Nolan charity to host our event, we as a team, have learned so much about the donor register and how people can easily help others who suffer from blood cancer, just by providing a tissue sample. Some members of our team have already registered to become donors and to be lifesavers. By attending this event, guests will be supporting the work of an amazing charity.”

Katie Knutson, Community Fundraiser at Anthony Nolan, said: “We are delighted that Little Duck Events is fundraising in aid of Anthony Nolan. Every penny raised will help us undertake lifesaving research, recruit more donors and provide vital support to patients and their families.”
