The group will be the first to graduate from the programme in November this year.

The evening at The Walls bar saw the students display examples of their work, which included samples from their last assignment entitled ‘Brand Me’ and offered opportunities for them to network.

The course focuses on the communication of contemporary global fashion market issues, challenges, opportunities and needs in collaborative ways. This includes presentations, visual branding and graphic design, as well as studying fashion-related disciplines, providing theoretical and technical knowledge to develop communication solutions for fashion brands and markets.

Tracey Hall, Programme Leader, said: "Congratulations to the first graduating year from Fashion Marketing and Communication, the class of 2019. It was great to see the students already connected to the industry at this launch night which gave them the opportunity to develop their networking and presentation skills."

Jennifer Hodgson, from Chester and one of the student organisers, said: “Brand Me was about really finding out who we were and where we wanted to go in the industry.  I knew I wanted to go into public relations and communications, so I created a Creative Agency - MODA//CREATIVE and a collection of work. I worked with a live brand and created a whole new look for them including images, video and a look book as well an accompanying press release, which would be distributed alongside the launch of the collection.

“It was a fantastic evening and the perfect way to say thank you to our friends, family and the staff at the University of Chester who made it all possible.

“The course is fantastic and one that has brought so much to our lives both personally and professionally. Tracey has provided so much in terms of knowledge and feedback and really aided our development, with the focus on getting into industry as soon as possible.”
