The Look Good Feel Better Fashion Show takes place on Tuesday February 26 at St. Mary’s Creative Space in Chester. The event will showcase clothes for many occasions and also include a raffle, drinks and shopping stalls.

The fashion show is being hosted by Eventgers, a group of Events Management students who are: Evie Elphick, aged 19, from the West Midlands; Paige Munson, aged 19, from Burton; Natalie Harvey, aged 20, from Conwy; Bethan Miles, aged 20, from Wilmslow and Chris Montealegre, aged 20, from Neston.

All proceeds will be donated to Look Good Feel Better, a charity which helps cancer patients who undergo treatments, such as chemotherapy, to deal with their visible side-effects. The charity hosts confidence boosting workshops all over the country and offers support systems to those battling the disease.

Bethan, Team Leader, Eventgers, said: “We are excited to be hosting the Look Good Feel Better Fashion Show and we can’t wait to see the impact our event will have. As a team we feel extremely proud to be able to raise money for the charity and we look forward to increasing awareness for such an important cause. With the money raised from the event, we hope to help fund the charity to continue to host workshops, especially around the Chester area.”

Lizzie Hanks, Fundraising Manager, Look Good Feel Better, said: “We are thrilled to be supported by Events Management students at the University through their upcoming fashion show. Funds raised by the show will go towards supporting our local workshop which is held monthly at the Countess of Chester Hospital, and provides support to hundreds of people living with cancer every year. We are dedicated to improving the mental and physical wellbeing of people undergoing treatment for any type of cancer, and with the support of fundraisers, we’re able to ensure many more people can face cancer with confidence.”

The event takes place from 6pm until 9.30pm. Bronze tickets cost £6 and offer back row seating and silver tickets cost £8 for general admission. Gold tickets cost £10 and include a mystery goody bag and front row seating.

All tickets entitle guests to a free welcome drink and canapés. For more information and to buy tickets, please visit the event website.
