The University of Chester has been shortlisted as one of the best Universities for international students in the UK.

On Monday (9th March), the preliminary results of the 2020 Whatuni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs) were released. The WUSCAs are based solely on the reviews of students studying at UK institutions with all aspects of student life being rated. This year, more than 41,000 reviews across 150 institutions were submitted.

The University of Chester is one of ten Universities to be shortlisted for the international category following reviews from international students. The award recognises the experience UK universities give international students.

The University has also been shortlisted in the following categories:

  • Job Prospects
  • Local Life
  • Student Support

The International Centre, along with teams across the University, work tirelessly to ensure that international students are given the best experience possible here in Chester. I would like to thank our students who took time to review the University and the members of staff who help make Chester a supportive and attractive destination for overseas students. We look forward to the release of the full results next month.Jonathan Pritchard, Director of the International Centre

The final results of the awards will be announced on Friday 24th April.
