Whether you have your offer for September, or you’re still carefully considering your options, we’re safely opening up our campuses so that you can visit us in person to get a feel for student life at Chester and explore what’s on offer via our Clearing Campus Tours.
The events of the past few months have meant that we couldn’t invite you to our friendly campuses due to government restrictions on social distancing. Now guidelines have eased, we have worked tirelessly to ensure that we can safely welcome you to attend one of our campus tours from Friday 14th to Friday 21st August (excluding 16th August).
Why visit us on a Campus Tour?
A campus tour is specially designed to give you the opportunity to explore our campuses before you make your decision. You’ll also have the opportunity to find out more about your chosen course, so you’re well prepared for September!
During your visit you'll be able to:
- Take a look at the general student facilities on our residential campuses in Chester or Warrington, such as the library, Students' Union and sport and leisure facilities
- View some examples of our on-site student accommodation
- Put your questions to our academic staff and support departments
If you're interested in a course based at one of our satellite sites (Riverside Campus, Creative Campus Kingsway, Queen's Park Campus or Thornton Science Park) you will also have the opportunity to take a tour of the facilities here.
Find out more about your course.
We have arranged for you to meet with academic staff during the campus tour so you can get your course-related questions answered by an expert.
We’re ensuring your safety on campus.
The safety of our visitors, staff and students is our upmost priority, so rest assured we have procedures in place to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit, such as:
- Personal tours will minimise the number of visitors on campus at any one time and reduce the likelihood of queues
- Social distancing will be adhered to at all times
- Surfaces and touch points will be regularly sanitised
- Hand sanitiser stations will be positioned at key locations throughout the tour
- Visitors are encouraged to wear face coverings, and we ask that where possible, face coverings are worn when viewing accommodation.
We continue to monitor government guidance and will notify you of any changes.
To allow you to make the most of your visit whilst ensuring your safety, we have allocated individual time slots and kindly ask that you wait in your car, or away from registration until your tour time. We also ask that you bring a maximum of two guests in order to minimise the number of visitors at our campuses.
What time does the campus tour start and finish?
The start time of the campus tour depends on which course you are interested in and the allocated time slot you select. Take a look at our booking page to see our full list of available tour times.
