Freshers’ Week is an exciting, but hectic introduction to university life. In order to help students prepare, we send them a welcome pack through the post before they start.

Sunday

Move in day! Student volunteers were on hand to help new students move in and settle into their new accommodation.

Monday

It was time for students to start finding their way around campus and meet staff and students from their course.

Of course, campus cat was on hand to greet new and returning students.

Our Students’ Union put together a great line up of events for Freshers’ Week. They kicked off the week with a BBQ.

Tuesday

Students were getting stuck into their academic activities.

There was an opportunity to get involved in some fun and games at the SU. Our Queen’s Park Campus hosted an outdoor cinema. Who doesn’t love The Greatest Showman?

Meanwhile, at our Warrington Campus there was a paint party.

Wednesday

We love that students are getting out and about and exploring their new surroundings.

Thursday

The Sport and Societies Fair is a great opportunity for students to see all the exciting things they can take part in while they’re a student.

Friday

The weekend allowed more time for exploring the city and seeing what events take place locally.
