It’s a busy time of year for our second year students as they are currently undertaking their five-week Work Based Learning module.

Work Based Learning is a great opportunity to ‘test-drive’ a future career, develop practical, work-related skills whilst at the same time enhancing your CV.

Our students have undertaken a huge variety of placements, so why not take a look at what they’ve been getting up to!

Firstly, it’s incredible to see so many of our students getting involved with helping the local community.

From working at a donkey sanctuary which offers animal assisted therapy to children and young people who have a range of additional needs and disabilities ...

... to joining the fundraising team for Hope House Kids:

Our students have also been getting creative, taking to the studio to work on their design project at Industry Chester…

... and at Kingsway, the University’s specialist creative arts campus.

Work Based Learning can provide some special and unforgettable experiences:

And help students work on their future career aspirations:

Some of our our students have been busy developing their digital marketing skills at Cheshire Digital Academy:

And all whilst managing to fit in a cup of tea or two!
