If you're thinking about moving away from home for the first time you might be really excited or a little nervous. But don't worry it's only natural to feel a little apprehensive and it's something that all our students have been through. Take a look at the snaps shared by some of our students to see how they've settled into their accommodation.

Bringing items that remind you of home is a great way to help you to settle into your accommodation. Pictures of friends and family and fairy lights are popular choices for making your room feel cosy.

There's plenty of accommodation options at Chester, from studio apartments to shared houses. The private sector has lots of choice too, so there's something for everyone when choosing where you'd like to live. Making it easy to find your home away from home.

If you're lucky, you might even get a room with a view too.

It's important not to forget the essentials too. If you're in self catered accommodation, don't forget to bring some pots and pans to get you started. Once you arrive you can always decide to club together with your housemates for other items.

So it begins #unilife #sendhelp #adultingisscary
