Student’s research suggests amphibians prefer wet under-road tunnels

Research by a University of Chester graduate suggests that under-road tunnels, designed to help frogs, toads and newts pass safely across a highway, would benefit from retaining water, to help reverse the worrying population declines of some amphibians.
