Who are Open Days for?

Open Days are the ideal opportunity for you to visit before applying to get a real feel for our courses and student life at Chester. You'll be able to attend subject talks, meet lecturers and current students, tour your campus, explore accommodation, and ask our expert advisers any questions you might have about the application process, student finance, and much more.

If you’re interested in postgraduate study, find out more about our postgraduate visit opportunities.

Please note that we continue to carefully review our on-campus events in light of the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation. If a recruitment event is cancelled or rearranged due to the Coronavirus we hope you’ll understand that the University of Chester will not be liable for any loss or damage such as travel and accommodation costs.

Make a Weekend of it!

We know that there’s more to university life than our campuses – that’s why we’re giving you the opportunity to extend your visit with a chance to win the weekend in Chester, Warrington or Shrewsbury on us.

We’ll plan the trip around you, so whether you want to visit the animals at Chester Zoo, dive into the solar system at Jodrell Bank, explore the historic Shrewsbury sites, or see a show at Storyhouse or the Theatre Severn, a fantastic weekend awaits.

Book an October Open Day in Chester, Warrington or Shrewsbury before midday on Thursday 7th October, or a November Open Day in Chester or Warrington by midday on Thursday 4th November and you’ll be entered into a draw to win the weekend on us. Full terms and conditions apply.
