Our degrees are taught by industry or research active staff members, who support and encourage students to develop as performers, whilst taking authorship and ownership of their own creative practice.

The Department has strong partnerships with a number of organisations, and links within the industry. Inviting national and internationally renowned artists and performers to either perform, or undertake workshops for students studying at the Kingsway Campus, creates a truly immersive and invaluable experience for students to learn from.

Our research interests are wide ranging and ensure all our courses are in touch with the latest thinking.
