Tatiana Chemi

Tatiana Chemi, Ph.D., is Associate Professor at Aalborg University, Denmark, Chair of Educational Innovation, where she works in the field of artistic learning and creative processes. Prolific author of many published articles and reports, amongst the others: The Art of Arts Integration, Aalborg University Press, 2014; Behind the Scenes of Artistic Creativity, Frankfurt, Peter Lang, 2015. She co-edited Arts-based Methods and Organisational Learning: Higher Education Around the World, for the Palgrave Series Studies in Business, Arts and Humanities (2018) and Arts-based Methods in Education around the World, River Publisher (2017). In 2013, Aalborg University Press named her Author of the Year. She is founder and co-editor of the book series The Arts, Creativities and Learning Environments in Global Perspectives at Brill/Sense.

Her latest work focuses on cross-cultural artistic creativity, arts-integration in higher education and theatre laboratory. This brought her to author A Theatre Laboratory Approach to Pedagogy and Creativity: Odin Teatret and Group Learning, Palgrave, 2018, and to editing The Five Continents of Theatre, by Eugenio Barba and Nicola Savarese, published for Brill/Sense in 2019. She is passionate about embodied and performative creative processes in education, research and writing.
