September 2022 – January 2023

  • Complete the 2023 Nutrition and Dietetics application online via AIMS.
  • Please note that the deadline for this course has been extended. All information including personal statement, module evidence, module outlines/details of the required modules and degree profile/transcript must be submitted by 12 noon (midday), UK time, on Friday, 27th January 2023. We would advise you to apply early and applications received by Friday, 25th November 2022 will be prioritised for consideration for the first interview date.
  • You are advised to apply well in advance of the deadline to allow us to confirm that your application has been received and will be considered.  You should also allow for delays in obtaining documents that you will need to submit with your application by the deadline.
  • Please ensure that you upload all the correct documents.  If you submit your application close to, or on the deadline, we will not be able to inform you of any errors with your application.
  • Please ensure that you enter accurate details for your referees so that a reference is received by us by the deadline below.  Please check the progress of your application online regularly.

25th November 2022

  • Completed applications received by 12 noon (midday), UK time, on this date will be prioritised for the first interview date.
  • Please note that in addition to the scheduled interview dates in February and March 2023, we may introduce an earlier interview date on Wednesday, 7th December 2022, subject to capacity.

27th January 2023

  • The final deadline for applications to this programme has been extended to 12 noon (midday), UK time, on Friday, 27th January 2023.
  • Please note all information including personal statement, module evidence, module outlines/details of the required modules and degree profile/transcript must be submitted by 12 noon (midday), UK time, on Friday, 27th January 2023. 
  • Incorrectly submitted or late applications or documents will not be considered.

10th February 2023

  • Separate deadline for receipt of references only. This deadline has also been extended. References received after this date will not be considered.

February – March 2023

  • All interview notifications will be made online.
  • Please note that the interview dates will be 22nd February and 23rd March 2023.  Please ensure you are available as there will not be any alternative dates.
  • We follow a Values Based Recruitment process which takes the format of a single 20 minute interview.
  • Following interview, successful applicants will receive either a conditional or an unconditional offer. You should confirm if you wish to accept/decline the offer as soon as possible.
  • Suitable interviewees who cannot be made an offer will be placed on a waiting list for places and unsuccessful interviewees will be notified.
  • You will be notified regarding this by no later than the end of April 2023.

May 2023

  • If you accept an offer you will receive information on placements, police and health checks.
  • You will be contacted by the Institutional Compliance Officer regarding the Disclosure and Barring Service, (DBS, formerly CRB) process.  Please ensure that you reply promptly, as this may affect your placements in the future.
  • You must also ensure you have the required immunisations prior to commencing the programme.

June-July 2023

  • If the offer is conditional you must confirm the results of your examinations online as soon as possible. If you studied your degree at the University of Chester, we will check the results for you.

August 2023

  • You will be contacted regarding the induction programme and timetable.

Mid-September 2023

  • Induction programme and start of teaching for programme.
