The Corporate Communications team issues approaching 300 press releases a year proactively, in addition to responding on behalf of the University to all media enquiries, and works with a broad spectrum of local, regional, national and international media – in print and online - and specialist journals.

Where possible, releases will be distributed with relevant images for print publications or digital media.

The Department channels all media calls, including broadcast, interview and photography requests, and can put writers, researchers and film crews in touch with experts on a wide range of subjects. This provides a clear point of contact for both journalists seeking information and staff and students wishing to share it.

Corporate Communications will arrange and facilitate any resulting interviews or filming.
