Research Students
The RKEI is delighted to be advertising for three fully-funded PhD studentships (full time, home student fees) who will work with leading research staff withing the Institute. This flagship scheme is designed to attract the next generation of academic researchers who wish to explore exciting new research projects. In return, the RKEI will arrange an experienced interdisciplinary supervisory team and will provide ongoing support to researchers through our ongoing programmes of events, activities and development training. For this initial round of PhD studentships, we are particularly interested in students who would like to pursue research in the following key areas:
- Visualising the Subject in Nineteenth Century Publishing
- Decolonising Education at University of Chester
- Spiritual Abuse: Coercive Control in Religions
- Touching History: Providing Access to Cultural Heritage
- Archaeology Unearthed: Understanding the Relationship between Soil Health and Archaeological Discoveries
