Throughout the year we hold a number of workshops and public lectures, and we work closely with a number of local Schools as part of an outreach programme.
- Establish an internationally-renowned campus, aligning students directly with energy, engineering and technology industries with the creation of the University’s eighth Faculty Science & Engineering.
- Develop a Centre of Excellence through industry and academic collaboration in the areas of Energy, Science, Engineering, Laser Technologies, Mathematics and Computer Science.
- Accommodate innovative pre-start, high growth small and medium enterprises (SMEs) with an appetite for research, innovation providing opportunities for students who are looking to forge careers in science and engineering.
- Unlock the region’s economic potential, through attracting and retaining multi-national firms by providing attractive commercial options for partnerships with the University and other stakeholders.
