The breadth and depth of the programme, coupled with staff expertise, provides students with the freedom and support to develop their own research informed interests. State and non-state actors are examined through theoretical and practical lenses. Issues concerning the environment, governments communications, humanitarian interventions, security, terrorism and war are all covered.
Why Study International Relations with us?
International Relations at Chester offers a unique blend of theoretical and practical skills to help students understand the changing nature of the world around us. The programme exists in a multidisciplinary Department that exposes students to diverse perspectives.
The principle Programme Team comprises active researches and specialist guest lecturers. We arrange extracurricular activities including visits to political institutions. We also pride ourselves on our approachability and desire to support students to realise their full potential in a safe environment that is conducive to debate and reflection upon the issues of the day.
