What time does the Applicant Day start and finish?

Where does the Applicant Day take place?

The location of your Applicant Day sessions will depend on which subject(s) you have been offered a place for. You will be advised of the location once you have inputted your details above.

What is the difference between an Applicant Day and an Open Day or Interview Day?

You may have already attended an Open Day prior to making your application. Applicant Days are post-application events for successful applicants who have received an offer. The events are tailored days designed to help you find out more about your course, view facilities and help you decide whether to make the University of Chester your Firm or Insurance choice.

There don't seem to be any Applicant Day dates available for me. What should I do?

If you have applied but not yet received an offer from us, we recommend that you wait until having received an offer before booking your Applicant Day, to ensure you see the facilities and location that is relevant to you.

If you have received an offer but our booking system doesn't bring up any dates for your course(s), please contact us by calling 01244 512800 or emailing visitus@chester.ac.uk.  It might be that you have received offers for courses based at different campuses, in which case we will be able to advise you on your best options for visiting us.

Which Applicant Day should I be booking onto?

We have different dates depending on what subject(s) you have been offered a place for. By inputting your ten digit UCAS personal ID number, you will be directed to a list of relevant dates from which you can choose when to attend.

I have booked onto an Applicant Day but can no longer make that date, although I would like to attend another Applicant Day. How do I change the date on my booking?

You will not be able to change the date of your booking, but we can instead cancel your current booking. Then all you need to do is book onto another Applicant Day. To cancel your booking simply call us on 01244 512800 or email visitus@chester.ac.uk.

What if I can't attend any of the Applicant Days for my chosen subject?

As an alternative to Applicant Days we offer campus tours on an ad-hoc basis on weekdays. To find out more and book onto a tour please email visitus@chester.ac.uk or call 01244 512800 and let us know that you can't make the Applicant Days and we will get back to you to arrange a campus tour.

However, we do recommend that you visit on an Applicant Day, if possible, as you will have the opportunity to not only visit the campus but to find out more about your course, the facilities, student finance, accommodation and student life in general. Applicant Days also include an opportunity to speak to our student ambassadors who are available to answer any questions about life at the University of Chester.
