Criminology at Chester is designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical skills to stand out to employers in the Criminal Justice agencies, and the wider public and private sectors. Students of Criminology have successful careers in the police, probation service, youth support, research and non-governmental organisations supporting people experiencing abuse, homelessness and other key social issues. Many students continue developing criminological expertise through postgraduate study in areas such as policing and research skills. Teaching, Learning and Support is designed to enable students to become self-assured, resilient, career ready, digitally literate, networked, and highly skilled graduates who are successfully doing what’s meaningful to them.
