Inspiring Community
Our lively peer workshops, projects and group work allow you to discuss theories and ideas in an open and positive environment. Staff are published academics with a passion for their subjects, and invited guest lecturers bring knowledge from the wider professional and academic community.
Tailored Facilities
Our Economics courses are taught at the Exton Park (Parkgate Road) site. Close to the on-site library, we offer a dynamic learning environment, with shared spaces for students to mix, discuss their work and undertake independent study. Economics students also have access to computer labs and specialised software.
Career-Focused
You can benefit from a broad range of work experience opportunities, including our innovative Work Based Learning module which includes a placement, or you have the opportunity to spend a year abroad. In addition, you will have the opportunity for direct contact with potential employers. With an Economics degree, you can pursue a career in big data, finance, business or consulting, and economists work across public and private sectors, as well as in the non-profit sector. The University’s careers service is also available to help develop and enhance your employability.
