Visit us at an undergraduate Open Day

Campus

Our Parkgate Road Campus is home to the Department of History and Archaeology. Just a short walk from the city centre, students here benefit from modern teaching facilities alongside social hubs and accommodation at the heart of the University. We also regularly take advantage of our local area for field trips and fieldwork.

Facilities

Our office hub contains the Department’s research library, which is in addition to the main library holdings. Specialist facilities include an archaeological laboratory, workroom and equipment. We also have very good links with heritage, museum and archive agencies in the local area, from which students are able to benefit during the course of their studies.
