Why Study?
The School of Education strives to deliver a premium student experience that is personalised and purposeful. We also provide opportunities to equip you with the skills you need to succeed in your chosen profession, and to adapt to changing work environments - locally, nationally and internationally. Every student has the support of their Personal Academic Tutor, and the Faculty is dedicated to guiding students to success through their strong academic and pastoral support. Tutors are research active, and the School of Education’s work is linked to the University’s Centre for Research into Education, Creativity and the Arts through Practice (RECAP).
Where You'll Study
Courses are available at two of our Chester sites; Wheeler and Exton Park, and at University Centre Shrewsbury. As a student, you will have access to specialist library collections, social areas, a catering outlet, subject specific teaching facilities, and IT laboratories.
Careers and Employment
Employability is central to our courses, with each one offering placements in educational environments where you will directly develop the practical skills you need for a career in education. Our programme teams work closely with employers to design course content that meets the needs of employers and provides pathways to employment, and progression to further academic study.
