Learning Site
The Department of Languages and Cultures is based in the Binks Building at Exton Park, Chester. There is an international flavour to the Department, with many students from continental Europe studying here. Our MA Language, Cultures and Translation is delivered online so you can study wherever you are.
Research Active Staff
With a vibrant and growing team of researchers, supervision is provided in a wide variety of subjects with opportunities to pursue your own academic interests through research degrees. Staff speak French, German, Mandarin and Spanish, and topics currently explored include identity formation, cultural resistance and global change.
