Learning Site
Creative Campus, Kingsway supports a tight-knit creative family with exhibition spaces and subject specialist facilities. You will have access to a wide range of traditional and digital tools and technologies in our subject-specific workshops and studios including photography lighting studios and dark rooms, digital printing, traditional printmaking, 3D printing, AR and VR technology, Mac and PC suites and wood and metal working. We also benefit from a dedicated on-site library with librarian support.
Research Active Staff
We have an active and exciting research culture, with many staff exhibiting and publishing work to an international audience. Our staff's research encompasses art and design media specialisms, practice methodologies and theoretical perspectives in four interdisciplinary themes: (im)materiality; embodiment, narrative and performance practice; everyday objects, habitus and thingness; and place, space and site. Narrative Drawing and Design Thinking are expanding areas of research activity and expertise within the department.
