Inspiring Community

The Department of Clinical Sciences and Nutrition is one of the largest and most established providers of nutrition courses, and our academic team comprises registered dietitians and nutritionists, exercise physiologists, and public health specialists. We also have active links with local hospitals allowing input from specialists such as cardiologists, endocrinologists, bariatric surgeons, gastroenterologists and vascular experts.

Tailored Facilities

Located at our historic Parkgate Road Campus, situated only a short walk from Chester’s city centre, you’ll have access to newly built science laboratories with modern facilities and equipment, as well as bespoke exercise physiology and clinical nutrition laboratories. You’ll benefit from modern teaching facilities, including a learning centre, library, quiet study areas and 24/7 computer suites, a ward simulation suite used to develop clinical skills, alongside recreation and accommodation at the heart of the University.
