The Time Square space will be refurbished and equipped to be operational for 2022 entry and will be our new hub for the University in Warrington. It will host an information point that is welcome to all, where you can come for a chat and find out more about the learning opportunities available from the University.

This location will be the new home to the Students' Union in Warrington, ensuring the SU have an accessible and prominent position for all students. It will also include bookable learning spaces with laptops and digital resources, breakout spaces for seminars and a lecture space for talks and events.

This town centre location will also work with partners to showcase the opportunities available for both learners and businesses and will include offers from Further Education partners and key business support programmes, such as the Accelerate skills programme, working with Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership.

It will also support the University’s ‘digital first’ approach by including an innovative Digital Learning Centre. The Digital Learning Centre (DLC) will provide you with the following services:

  • A technology-rich working environment
  • Study skills support
  • Learning technology
  • ICT support

Our Time Square site will support traditional teaching but will also be a space for local businesses, schools and colleges to engage with the University. With the ambition to support lifelong learning and improve learners' digital skills, this site will enable the University to deliver CPD and short courses through innovative means such as a video wall, wall-mounted screens, 3D printers, tablets, VR/AR headsets and online-remote streamed lessons.
