University of Chester Press
Founded in 2001 and launched as the University of Chester Press in 2011, we share excellent original research, professional practice and creative work associated with the University, prioritising publications with a significant relationship to the history, life and culture of Cheshire and the wider region.
Managed by an Editorial Board and supported by a critical peer review process, the University of Chester Press seeks to ensure that the University’s core value of excellence in learning, teaching, research and innovation is evident throughout its list of books. The Press aims to provide authors with a cost-effective means of publishing their work, together with a personal approach. Prospective authors and editors are welcome to read the Advice for prospective authors and editors for more information on the approval process and then to contact the Managing Editor. If you would like to proceed, please complete the University of Chester Press proposal form with as much detail as possible. This, together with a sample chapter, will form the first part in the approval process. These Guidelines for PhD conversion to a book give more information for those considering this option.
