Caroline Ford

Caroline is part of the teaching team for BA Media and Television Production and BA Film and Media Studies programmes and contributes to BA Acting, BA Drama and postgraduate provision focusing on screen content and performance.

Caroline started her career in the TV Industry after obtaining a distinction for her MA TV Documentary from the University of Salford.  Caroline made her way up from a Researcher to Producer/ Director, working on a variety of programmes for regional and national broadcasters including ITV and the BBC.

Caroline still enjoys getting behind the camera and has worked on some practice-based projects including producing and directing some short films for Mobility of Objects Across Boundaries (MOB), an interdisciplinary project funded by an AHRC network grant, and a commercial DVD for Super League rugby team, Warrington Wolves.  Caroline has also been involved in a BFI 360 filmmaking academies for 16-19 year olds, collaborating with Reel Solutions, Storyhouse in Chester and other colleagues from the University.
