Lynne Bell

With over 20 years teaching experience spanning across a variety of architecture related disciplines, Lynne joined the University in 2018 to take up the position of Programme Leader of the BA (Hons) Interior Design programme at Chester. 

As a qualified architect, Lynne has taught across a range of programmes at various Higher and Further Education Institutions in the Northwest of England. Her discipline specific interests focus on the impact of spatial planning and design of the interior environment on people and place alongside the role of architectural drawing within the design process.

2004-2006: Senior Design Officer at Cheshire County Council, Chester.

1991-1992: Architectural Assistant/ Architect at Alan Hamilton Architects , Belfast 

1989-1990 Part 2 Architectural Assistant at  Sir William Halcrow and Partners, London.

1987: BSc (Hons) Architecture (RIBA part 1), Queens University, Belfast.

1989: Diploma in Advanced Architectural Studies (RIBA Part 2), Queens University, Belfast.
