Dr Dami Akosile

My interests lie in the interactions between people and spaces, the interpretation of these spaces, and how planning for these spaces can be sustainable, integrated and beneficial for health and well-being.

Creating better urban spaces and addressing issues such as urbanisation, globalisation, and climate change are my main interests as a human geographer with experience in urban planning. I am also interested in how human emotions, behaviours and well-being are shaped by different environments – spaces and places. Furthermore, I am passionate about sustainable transportation that can improve people’s mobility, accessibility and quality of life while reducing transport systems' environmental and social impacts.
