I am a lecturer on the MA in Clinical Counselling. I also work as counsellor and supervisor in private practice. I have an especial interest in issues around death/dying, bereavement and loss.

Alongside teaching on the MA in Clinical Counselling, I also work as a counsellor and supervisor in private practice. Previously I worked in a hospice-based community bereavement service for a decade as counsellor, supervisor, trainer and manager. This role included managing student placements, expanding the service and developing and delivering community bereavement projects. I am also on the BACP Good Practice in Action writing panel.

I currently teach on the MA in Clinical Counselling.

I am interested in researching death/dying, bereavement and loss. My previous research looked at 'complicated grief'.
