I joined the department of Social and Political Science in 2019. I undertook my counsellor training at the University of Chester, completing the Clinical Counselling MA in 2016. I am currently studying on the Doctor of Professional Studies in Counselling and Psychotherapy Studies at the University of Chester.

My counselling practice at present is in the area of palliative care. My core therapeutic model is Person-Centred counselling.

 

I currently teach on the following modules:

  • SO4402 Core Values in Counselling Skills
  • SO4404 Development of Counselling Skills
  • SO5404 Enhancing Counselling Skills
  • SO6401 Using Counselling Skills in the Workplace

I am interested in researching family dynamics and my previous research has examined parental conflict.
