I am a public health professional advocate for social equality, equity and justice. I was privileged to gather experience in various public health disciplines. I have had senior public health role and worked with Government of India. Over the years I have gained International public health experience.

I have worked extensive in RMNCH+A Continuum of Care (Reproductive, Maternal, New-born, Child and Adolescent health) on USAID Project. I closely worked on maternal and child health and extended my technical expertise to the thematic division of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. My passion to gain an in-depth understanding of public health inspired me to pursue a professional doctorate.

Prior to starting my work in current role, I worked for 3 years as Visiting Lecturer at University of Chester and contributed to the MPH programme. 

My teaching contribution to public health and pre-registration nursing. I teach particularly on following modules: Research in Community Practice, Theories and Principles of public health

Actively involved in dissertation supervision, marking and monitoring at Level 7 for MPH students

Personal Academic Tutor support to MPH students

I have keen interest in continuum of care for maternal and child health and have undertaken research focused on pregnant women. I am currently exploring my research interest and also working on doctoral thesis.

Topic for my Doctoral Thesis is - Exploring engagement: A constructivist grounded theory study of pregnant woman’s engagement with antenatal care health services in rural India.
