I have 14 years post qualifying experience as an Art psychotherapist. I am also a clinical supervisor, trainer and lecturer.

My Art therapy career has enabled me to work with a wide range of client groups including children and young people within mainstream and alternative settings, domestic abuse services, dyadic work, looked after children/ adoption, bereavement, homelessness and mental health.

I have an integrative approach to art therapy, and have particular interests in nature-based practices, outdoor Art therapy and meditation.

I have supervised both trainee and qualified Art therapists, drama therapists and creative counsellors.

I have delivered lectures for The British Association of Art Therapists (BAAT). And I have been the coordinator for BAAT’S special interest group Northern Art Therapy in Education NATE.

I have collaborated with therapists and wellbeing practitioners working within different modalities delivering workshops and CPD trainings for therapists.

I have presented at the European federation of Art therapists international conference and the International forum for Art therapy education.

I am Module Leader for NM7500 (Theoretical Perspectives), NM7507 (Art Therapy Theory into Practice) and NM7503 (Placement Preparation).
