Suzy Twist

Suzy is a graduate of Leeds Metropolitan University where she studied for both undergraduate and post graduate qualifications. Since graduating she has taught for 20 years in a range of secondary schools, has been Head of Department, Head of Girls PE and SSCo. Suzy has also taught in primary schools, acting as PE Mentor to generalist teaching staff.

Suzy organises placements in local secondary school PE departments for the applied teaching experience modules and teaches on the following modules:

  • Introduction to the Pedagogy of Physical Education (Level 4)

Suzy supervises dissertation students specializing in Physical Education and Pedagogy and is currently co-ordinating the EBL Pedagogy Project looking at Primary School PE provision.
