I am a qualified Nurse and Midwife with over twenty years’ experience in the NHS. I have been working in Education since 2015 and joined the Midwifery Team at Chester in March 2020. My interests include Public Health & Health Promotion, Professionalism and Ethics, and Research.

I am a Senior Lecturer on the BSc (Hons) Midwifery Programme and lead on the Research modules, and the Professional, Autonomous and Accountable Midwife module. I also have experience supervising undergraduate student dissertations.

My research interests include Teaching & Learning in Education with a focus on Enquiry Based Learning and Self-Directed Learning. 

I have undertaken quantitative and qualitative research in both these areas.

Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
