Abdul Muqeem

Abdul is a lecturer in the Department of Management on its International Business MSc modules, coming from a background of management and retail.

In September 2021, I started working as a lecturer at the University of Chester. Previously worked in the retail sector for five years and created a successful enterprise in Liverpool. I also worked in the security industry for eight years as a business development manager and recruitment manager, dealing with high-value customers such as RMG and Langtree Group around the country. In 2020 and 2021, I completed projects across multiple locations to secure a three-million-pound project for the company. 

I am currently undertaking Doctoral research in sustainability reporting and financial performance. And actively engaged in management research methods Modules and led on launching a sustainable international business.
