Cheryl Sørensen

An experienced manager with over 15 years of management experience across a variety of industries including retail, health & social care, property and esports. Cheryl also has over 10 years of entrepreneurship experience as a business owner and has assisted friends and family members with their businesses internationally across a variety of industries.

A previous University of Chester student, Cheryl completed her BA Hons Business Administration with a specialism in Human Resource Management and her MBA at Chester. She has previously worked within the learning design team at Chester, before joining the Department of Manager as a Learning Facilitator and subsequently as a Lecturer. She specialises in HRM and Entrepreneurship and teaches on BU4012 – Essentials of Entrepreneurship and BU5050 – Entrepreneurial Thought and Action. She also supervises undergraduate students during their Business Research Projects (Dissertation).

A previous Women in Games ambassador, Cheryl has worked voluntarily with female esports and games development within the last 5 years, partnering with Method Gaming and esports Denmark for a variety of female focused events.
